Foods that Help Promote Digestion

Consider adding these foods to your diet:
  1. Fiber
  2. Fermented
  3. Spices
  4. Herbs
Beans

Miso

Paprika

Pappermint

FIBER: Gluten-free whole grains, vegetables, beans.  Count on them for a healthy does of minerals and proteins.
FERMENTED: Yogurt, miso, sauerkraut.  Count on the fermented foods to provide healthy bacteria.  Many are predigested so it makes it easier on the body to handle (sounds yummy?!?). Try them even if you think you won't like them.
SPICES: Coriander, Cumin, Paprika.  These help the body stimulate the secretion of digestive enzymes and bile productions which aids in the breaking down of fats.
HERBS: Peppermint, Aloe, Ginger.  Be sure to add these as they help fight environmental toxins and provide support to the detoxifying organs of the body.
